Grandson Tyler is deployed with the 1st Infantry Division (Army). He returns home 5 June.
I spent 32 years in the Army retiring as a Command Sergeant Major then worked for Sears at their headquarters in Chicago for 14 years.
I served in Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Germany and in numerous locations stateside.
I was a Command Sergeant Major my last 11 years in the Army 3 of my eight assignments were General Officer Commands; Persian Gulf Theater CSM, Transportation Corps and Fort Eustis/Story CSM, and the Combined Arms Support Command Fort Lee. I was a finalist in the 2000 Sergeant Major of the Army selection process.
Grand Daughter Cheyenne was married to Jake on 28 May. We are awaiting the birth of our first Great Grand Daughter on 30 June.
