Elizabeth and I were great friends, elementary thru high school. We were members of the Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls (Mrs. Vironda and Mrs Bradstreet were our leaders). I remember meeting her (when in junior high) on the corner of Territorial Rd and LaVista Blvd, and we would walk to the Lakeview Plaza and wander the stores. Some times we would stop and get a coke or Sundae at the Ice Cream Store on Territorial Road. Every minute was filled with giggles and laughter. After school we did go our separate ways. We did find each other for a short period, when she worked for Union Pump Company. We'd brown bag and spend our lunch hour at the lagoon, near the old Lila Hospital. Liz and I shared some classes together. I liked her very much. She was warm-hearted and good spirited.Her laught was wonderful! It sounded like she was coming apart! :-) I'm very sorry that she is no longer among us.
