I met Cathy Conn when we were in 7th grade and attending baton lessions. We struck up a friendship at our first lesson that would last up until she passed away. Cathy had wonderful sense of humor and posessed a keen musical talent. She was a high school teacher at Eaton Rapids. She spent many Summer's with my family and was a God Mother to our daughter. She passed away in 1987 and will forever be missed.
